Film Festival Carnage 2008
I haven’t had good luck getting On The Wing into film festivals. I’ve been totally shut out. This is the first film I’ve tried to get into festivals so I’ve definitely learned how to focus which ones I’ve entered and there were a few reaches (read Sundance) on the list. However, I definitely thought I would have been accepted by one festival by now. There’s several I haven’t heard from yet so I’m still hopeful.

Ugh – It seems worse when I list them all. That great night at Cinema 21 with a packed house definitely sustains me when each rejection comes in. Thanks Portland!

Portland Firefly’s un-scientific “exit polling” of the theatre goers gave this result:
Do you think we like the movie so much because we live in Portland and it is a Portland phenomenom? Or is it “just that good”?
The overwhelming response was “On The Wing” is “that good”!
